Day . 19 North Island

From our condo, we headed to the northside to check out a few things before we checked in at Waikoloa. We went to Mauna Kea beach - the second to last beach we have on our list. It was picturesque.

Man, she was proud of this Everly Mom (heart).

Then we took the mountain road to Waimea and stopped at Parker Ranch, because...well, you know.
The mountain road transplanted us to Ireland.

Then we dropped down into the sweet little town of Hawi. I wish we had more time to poke around here. We were on a mission though to check out a piece of artwork I had scouted out. Mission accomplished and it's wrapped up and ready to go home with us.

We drove an hour back south and around the northern tip of the island to arrive at Waikoloa. Where we have no intention of leaving for three days until we are forced to go home.

These are the grounds of our condo. Wow.

There is an amazing and intricate system of waterslides and pools here. So we pretty much dropped our towels and the kids ran in as fast as they could.

Then we wrapped up with a late night of Dive in Movie. Yes, we watched a movie from our lounge chairs in the pool while the kids swam around and watched and we ate popcorn and candy and had a perfect first night here.

  1. Is this condo the one where they have swimming pools interlinked and you need to take a cab or something to go from one place to another? I hope I'm making sense. And feel free to respond to questions in morse code or text.
