It's raining, it's pouring

...the best kind of day for outdoor swimming lessons, right? Since it was *barely* 52 degrees this morning, the pool felt more like a hot tub and the kids declared that they don't care if it's snow, rain, or shine - they love swimming.

One of our *two* sets of mealtime guests. We kicked off lunch with our good friends Veronica and Cadence and then we wrapped up dinner with neighbor Ben.

And then SERIOUSLY -  I was walking by our good old jar we've had since the beginning of May and I happened to notice a little moth sitting on the bottom. We did it! We missed the little guy climbing out of his cocoon and I really thought he didn't make it (who knows how long he'd been there), but when we rustled around his little home, he stirred and climbed up on Parker's hand. When the always eager animal lover Everly (LENNY!), tried to also hold him, he flew away. Much safer decision, little fellow. I'm so proud we actually did it!

And then Everly and I wrapped up the afternoon with an always entertaining game of Busytown. It's great to play...anything...with Everly because there are no rules in Three Year Old Land. Except for the ones she makes up. On the spot. And then changes before it's someone's turn. And, (drumroll...) she won! Imagine that.
