Bliss.

Over a month ago we got home from 6 days in Bliss. Absolute, sheer, and total Bliss. Bliss Landing is tucked away, past the end of highway one in B.C., two ferry rides away and 9 hours of travel. There is a cabin nestled in the cliffside, looking down into clear blueish green water, where our dear, dear friends Spencer and Lisa were waiting for us with their two kids. Over a decade ago at this cabin we cliff jumped together off of a tiny island, all holding hands and not knowing what lay before us. At this cabin a year later Spencer and Lisa got engaged. At this cabin we have spent many a late night laughing, crying, and talking about our deepest, darkest everythings. And now at this cabin we shared an almost week with our kids, nine months apart and relived our sandy feet, our fishing mornings, and our walks around the beautiful Bliss. We clinked our late-night gin and tonics and marveled at how our girls and boys cuddled up in big beds together, exhausted with their sunkissed faces. We laughed about years of friendships and high school days with Spencer and I. We watched our children play endlessly together, and the four of us NEVER run out of things to talk about. My soul filled up that week, and my cup runneth over.
