Happy (belated) Fourth of July!

We were in for the perfect 4th of July this year - Jeremy didn't work for once, and the neighbors were mostly in town. So we hung around, pooled our resources, and had a grand ol' time. We had quite the spread - salmon, crab, and prawns freshly caught from different family's boats and some very delicious ribs. Uh, yum. Add about 30 kids and some sparklers and we had ourselves a block party.

This is how Parker rolls on the 4th.

And this is how Everly rolls...most of the time.

 

 This kids got in bed at nearly midnight, exhausted and happy and covered in dirt still with hair smelling of cupcake frosting. A good day, indeed.
