Day 17 . La'aloa Beach

 We headed right outside our door to the beach at our condo to spend the Fourth of July day. We got there early and wound up running into some friends, so we ended up spending the entire day there. Eight hours has a way of magically passing when you're on a beach in Hawaii. We made some sand castles and did some major boogie boarding. The kids are getting pretty good!

Right before sunset we drove into town and celebrated The Fourth on the waterfront with all the other crazy people in Kona. It was nuts! And so fun.
